This unique building in the busy city, Big Hat Cultural and Creative Park, is located in Yanwo Village, Shipai Town. It is Shipai’s first key support project oriented towards cultural tourism, culture, and cultural creativity. It is understood that the Big Hat Cultural and Creative Park project covers an area of about 50 acres. The “big hat” has a unique shape, and the design concept is a large container + a tensile membrane big hat. It is the largest steel structure hat-shaped building in the world and can be called “the best hat in the world”.

The main building of “Big Hat” is divided into three areas: A, B, and C, with a total of six floors, each floor is 4.5 meters high, and each floor has a construction area of approximately 8,000 square meters. The cap body has three floors (7th, 8th and 9th floors). The height of the cap body is 32 meters, each floor is about 2500 square meters, and the plane diameter is 65 meters. The 7th and 8th floors are 9 meters high, and the top floor of the 9th floor is 27 meters high. It has a 40-meter-long high-altitude glass plank road, a 30-meter-high electric swing project foundation, and a high-altitude infinity swimming pool construction foundation of approximately 3,000 square meters on the 7th floor.

The design inspiration of “big container + big hat” comes from not only the epitome of Dongguan’s export-oriented economy, but also the epitome of Kangda Group’s development history. According to the staff of Big Hat Cultural and Creative Park, the first floor of “Big Hat” is a food street. It is planned to introduce about 60 mid-to-high-end gourmet restaurants to create a food paradise that gathers delicious food from all over the world. At present, the entire food court on the first floor has been rented out and is expected to open on New Year’s Day in 2024. The renovation of other floors has been basically completed and investment promotion work is being started, and it is also planned to open successively after New Year’s Day.

The Hat Body Area (seventh to ninth floors) will introduce some team building and entertainment projects, as well as a 360° high-altitude glass plank road, high-altitude electric swings, an approximately 3,000-square-meter high-altitude infinity swimming pool, and six extreme climbing horse trails on the main roads, etc., which will be built in the future. After the park officially opens, tourists can check in for sightseeing.
