The project is located in the east of Jinkeqiao Avenue, south of Kepao Line, west of Jingshui Road, and north of Chouduan Road in Keqiao District, Shaoxing City. It is close to the core areas of the city such as Xiaoshan Airport, Keqiao High-speed Railway North Station, Zhongfang CBD, and E-commerce Park. The total land area of ​​the project is about 200,000 square meters, and the total construction area is about 250,000 square meters. It is an urban exhibition complex that integrates multiple functions such as conferences, exhibitions, banquets, performances, and sports.

With “one axis, three points, and two sides” as the overall planning structure, a 3-story high central axis runs through the east-west plot, effectively connecting Zhongfang CBD, Phase I, Phase II, and the long-term expansion land on the east side. At the same time, the central corridor connecting the “east, middle, and west ends” is constructed to realize the first floor overhead, providing a gathering and distribution space for ground traffic. The 2-3 floors are arranged with conference, catering, office and other exhibition facilities, while taking into account urban services. Connecting two sides of the axis: Zhongfang CBD on the north side and the riverside ecological landscape on the south side, creating a waterfront landscape leisure belt and urban green belt, so that the exhibition complex can be integrated into the daily life of the city and return to the original attributes of public buildings in the urban area.

The exhibition area of ​​Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center is 100,000 square meters, with about 5,000 standard booths. The design arranges two super-large single-story main exhibition halls in parallel along the north side of the central corridor, with a net height of 15 meters, which can be flexibly divided into multiple unit exhibition halls to maximize the layout of the single-story exhibition hall area. In combination with the local cultural characteristics of Shaoxing, traditional symbols such as “water”, “spinning”, “eaves” and “lights” are integrated into the overall shape of the building, so that the historical and cultural core shines with new brilliance in the new era carrier, forming an urban opportunity exhibition complex that integrates with the Jiangnan water town.

“Water” faces the main urban roads and the city’s external image display surface. The design sets up a conference center on the independent land on the east side – a total of 3 floors, with two rivers and two roads on the four sides, creating a landmark form of “water conference center”. Its building area is 20,000 square meters, which is divided into enterprise exhibition hall, multi-functional conference hall, press conference hall and medium-sized conference room. It not only provides supporting functions for the exhibition center, but also serves as a high-end conference complex for Keqiao and even Shaoxing. “Lantern” The shape of the conference center is taken from the traditional intention of “lantern”. The external facade uses membrane structure materials to respond to the thin and transparent feeling of the “light textile” industry. At the same time, the rhythm of “water” is integrated into the interior space to create a simple and rhythmic space effect.

Due to the special requirements of scale, function and form, the project uses a variety of technical means to deal with many design problems such as fire protection, structure and roof. Among them, the main exhibition hall is designed as a partition of 63 meters x 90 meters, with a structural span of about 90 meters, a steel structure truss system, and water curtains and gravity sliding roofs between partitions, which can meet the needs of exhibition venues of various sizes. In addition, the bridge on the river in the project adopts a combination of truss bridge and cable-stayed bridge, which is the first in China.
