Project summary

This project is a Zimbabwe membrane structure canopy covering project, located in the capital of Zimbabwe, Harare, close to the historic Arcturus gold mine, convenient transportation. The project area is in a dry and cold season from May to August, with an average maximum monthly temperature of 21 – 24°C the early stage, an average minimum monthly temperature of 6 – 9°C, and the coldest period is usually concentrated from May to July, with the average temperature in generally ranging from 13 – 16 degrees, and the annual precipitation is between 800 and 1000m.

Project Progress

In view of the special climatic conditions and the requirements of the project itself, the construction period of this project is very urgent. As contractor of the project, the project covers four shed areas, totaling 7 single buildings, adopting single and double arch forms respectively, with a total area of about 30000 square meters of membrane materials, and PVDF membrane materials are selected. At the beginning of the project, the primary task was the processing of steel structures and the production membrane materials. Faced with more than 500 tons of steel and 30,000 square meters of membrane materials, it is extremely difficult to complete communication design, processing and even shipping within a month.

Faced with this extremely challenging task, the Yexing team worked together and maintained their positions day and night. After 30 days and nights of battle, all the processes from steel structure processing to membrane fabrication were successfully completed. At present, the first batch of goods has been prepared and is about to be transported to the port This achievement is not only an important milestone in the progress of the project but also a testament to the team’s efforts and collaboration, demonstrating professional strength and efficient execution under complex projects tight schedules.
