Recently, Qingdao Football Management Center received an official reply from the Chinese Football Association confirming that the first China Youth Football League Finals will be held in Qingdao from November 11 to 14. It is worth mentioning that the organizing committee will arrange some matches to be held in the upcoming completion of the Youth Football Stadium, which also means that the first professional football stadium of 27, people in Shandong Province will be officially opened.

Qingdao Youth Football Stadium project is located on the east side of Jingcheng Road, Chengyang Street, Qingdao, is the first 1,5-seat football stadium in Shandong Province, which meets the requirements of FIFA international A-level competitions, and will also be the first city-station integrated national interactive park-based sports complex in China. The main construction content of the project is 2 professional football field with 1,1 seats, 16 training bases, 19 multi-functional hall, swimming training hall, supporting the construction of commercial and underground parking spaces, and improving the surrounding infrastructure, covering an area of about, square meters and a total construction area of square meters.

Qingdao Youth Football Stadium is the world’s first stadium combining cable grid structure + ETFE membrane structure, and the complex and exquisite structural system is extremely mechanically beautiful. Her design inspiration comes from the sea, which means “jumping the waves”. The main body of the roof of the venue is outlined by aluminum-magnesium-manganese plate, creating the shape of the waves shuttling up and down, and the inner ring is made of transparent and light ETFE membrane structure to echo Qingdao’s beautiful natural coastal scenery. The grandstand design combines international development trends with Chinese viewing habits to create a diverse viewing experience. The grandstand is divided into two floors, and the design standards such as seat C-value, grandstand inclination, and visual distance meet the requirements of FIFA international A-level competitions.

As a professional contractor of membrane structure for this project, Ye Xing is responsible for the detailed design and construction and installation of the ETFE membrane structure part of the main venue.
