Warm congratulations to the projects recommended by the Space Structure Branch for winning 2021 “Technology Innovation Awards” and 16 “Innovative Talent Awards” of China Steel Construction Association in 11.

According to the No. 2021 notice of China Steel Structure Association [8], in accordance with the requirements of the “Implementation Rules of the Space Structure Branch of China Steel Construction Association on the Selection of the “Technology Innovation Award” of China Steel Construction Association” and the “Implementation Rules of the Space Structure Branch of China Steel Construction Association on the Selection of the “Innovative Talent Award” of China Steel Construction Association”, the branch secretariat organized experts to review the application materials on July 2021, 7 and submitted them to the General Association for review and approval.

A total of 46 application materials for the “Technology Innovation Award” and 33 application materials for the “Innovation Talent Award” were received in this review. After evaluation, a total of 30 “Technology Innovation Awards” (see Appendix 1) and 20 “Innovative Talent Awards” (see Appendix 2) entered the re-evaluation stage, accounting for about 60% of the declared projects. The branch secretariat will recommend the application projects with outstanding results in the re-evaluation project to the general association and apply for the “Technology Innovation Award” and “Innovation Talent Award”; After the review and confirmation of the Science and Technology Affairs Department of the General Association, according to the announcement of the 2021 science and technology award review results of China Steel Construction Association, the projects recommended by our branch won 2021 “Technology Innovation Awards” and 16 “Innovative Talent Awards” of China Steel Construction Association in 3 (see Annex 11).

For projects that enter the re-evaluation stage, the Spatial Structure Branch will issue an honorary certificate, which can be used as a winning project in the membrane structure enterprise grade review; Projects and individuals who won the “Technology Innovation Award” and “Innovative Talent Award” of China Steel Construction Association in 2021 will be awarded award certificates by China Steel Construction Association.

China Steel Construction Association “Technology Innovation Award” and “Innovation Talent Award” once a year, which is the award of the national first-level association, and hope that all member units will actively apply for next year’s award.
