Building a building with a stable bamboo triangular structure is a very fascinating thing. The Chinese characters “八”, “人”, “入”, as representatives of the Chinese characters “between left and right strokes”, are not only the theme of this event, but also the form of the Chinese character left and right strokes is the most stable triangular structure. The architectural intention of “between bamboo beams and left and right strokes” came into being.

The whole building is built with nearly 1,200 bamboo poles, and the axonometric longitudinal is divided into 8 spans (7 bamboo beams + 1 steel ladder) in sequence. Each bamboo beam is overlapped by a hollow truss system. The first bamboo beam is cantilevered outward with a “column beam”, and the corbel beam presents an outward embrace. The “eight-shaped steel ladder” at the end of the span strengthens the orderliness of the bamboo beam, implying that from bamboo beams to steel beams, it is like a dialogue between the past and the present.

The towering through the beam form and the plane system of the traffic of the roads naturally emerge on the design drawing. This building takes the through beam as the outline, and naturally forms a plane staggered system with roads as the norm. Using the “piercing beam” as a carrier to support the “beam”, 8 art spaces are placed on the first floor, becoming a place for the “trend”.

The choice of the material of the shed film is very exquisite. The designer chose the current semi-transparent silver film among nearly 10 kinds of film materials. The economical “welding and ironing” is used to splice the film seams to achieve a horizontal size of 1.3m and a vertical width of 10m for each product. The head and tail are fixed by 3mm steel ropes, which are connected to steel bolts through hoop rings and tightened by orchid screws to achieve a straight state. The tension of the shed film makes this building a shelter from wind and rain. The silver semi-transparent film cloth is a bridge between the sky and the ground, and it reflects the sky blue color to this building.
