This project uses two layers of ETFE film air pillows, in which the pneumatic system maintains air between the film layers attached in the aluminum extrusions to form an air pillow, which is wrapped around the outer surface of the building to form a transparent and lightweight air pillow with high thermal insulation properties. It is a very ideal building envelope material for high-quality building envelopes, especially for large-span enclosed buildings.

The ETFE installation includes a total of five skylights, each consisting of five air pillows, for a total of 25 air pillows and a total area of 7,300 square feet. The film features a printed pattern of non-transparent dots that help control sunlight and shade the built space below.

Compared with glass, ETFE membrane structure has obvious advantages in flexibility, impact resistance, lightweight, curved surface processing, color and pattern, and unique shape.
