At present, the roof of the station building has been completed, and decoration and electromechanical installation are underway. The Shanghai-Suzhou-Lake High-speed Railway has started trial operation, and the countdown to the opening of the entire line has begun. Songjiang Station is located in Yongfeng Street, Songjiang District, Shanghai. It is adjacent to Renmin South Road in the east, Songjiang South Station in the south, Yancang Road in the west, and Block 30-05 in the north. The new Songjiang Station building covers an area of ​​60,000 square meters, and the station city comprehensive development with the transportation center as the core covers an area of ​​1.3 million square meters. In the future, Songjiang Station will integrate multiple modes of transportation such as railway passenger stations, urban rail transit, trams, long-distance buses, and buses to create a super TOD transportation complex in southwest Shanghai.

The total construction area of ​​Shanghai Songjiang Station is 116,000 square meters, of which the main station building area is 60,000 square meters. It is an online waiting mode with a total of 5 floors. The maximum number of people designed is 5,000. It is a line-side + elevated station with an upper entry and lower exit form. There are 4 550m long platforms and 3 450m long platforms; steel structure platform canopy. The total scale of the station will reach 9 platforms and 23 lines. Shanghai Songjiang Station is the largest station among the 8 stations along the Shanghai-Suzhou-Lake High-speed Railway, and the annual passenger flow is expected to reach 25 million.

The project design fully follows the advanced concept of “station-city integration” and aims to create a modern comprehensive transportation hub integrating efficient transportation, urban life, commercial services, and cultural display. In terms of architectural form, Shanghai Songjiang Station cleverly combines flowing horizontal lines with simple and bright vertical lines to form a modern and dynamic visual effect. This design not only reflects the beauty of the building, but also implies the unique regional characteristics of Songjiang as the “head of Pujiang and a city of science and technology innovation”.

As a professional membrane structure contractor for the Shanghai Songjiang Station project, Yexing is responsible for the in-depth design and construction and installation of the PVDF+PTFE membrane structure in the atrium of Shanghai Songjiang Station. The architectural form of the waiting hall is composed of the upper PVDF transparent membrane material, the PTFE ceiling membrane structure and a large number of aluminum panels. According to the feedback from the project manager, the team is currently working overtime to install and adjust the grid membrane, while also working on the lock grid membrane curtain. The installation of transparent membrane materials is also being carried out simultaneously to ensure that the project is advanced as planned.
